Wondering About Your Future?

Wondering About Your Future?
Do you wonder what God's plan is for your future. Do you feel uneasy about the unknown and uncertain about what lies ahead? Rest assured sister, we can take comfort in the fact that God knows the thoughts He has for us, as Jeremiah 29:11 tells us. This verse reminds us that God has "plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future", or my favorite as it says in the NKJ version, "to give us an expected end". That is more obtainable for my imagination to grasp and if God promises it, that excites me!

While it's important to trust in God's plan, it's also important to make plans for our future. Proverbs 16:9 states, "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." This means that while we may make plans, it's ultimately up to God to guide us in the right direction.

We should seek God's guidance when making plans for our future. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." By trusting in God and submitting our plans to Him, we can have confidence in our future.

In conclusion, as followers of Jesus, we can take comfort in knowing that our Father has a plan for our future. While we make plans, we must also trust in God's guidance and submit our plans to Him. By doing so, we can have hope and confidence in the future that God has in store for us and wait for Him to make our crooked paths straight with an expected end that we can be excited about!

Proactive step for revelation and growth:
While we maybe familiar with Proverbs 3:5-6, I encourage you to read it like it's the first time.  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart".  How much of your heart? All. "Do not lean on your own understanding."  What are you 'understanding' about your situation? Does it align with God's Word? "In all your ways acknowledge Him" in all things "and He will make your crooked paths straight."
Comment below:  Where are you leaning on and trusting by default your own thoughts, maybe negative thoughts or a perspective that may not be accurate or aligned with God's hope, future and expected end for you? Maybe you need to sit with Him and have the Holy Spirit reveal if you tend to look through your own dirty lens rather than God's clear vision lens.  Precious sister, I'd love for you to share any Kingdom revelation below.
